ABOUT US
The Three Hills Playschool Association (THPA) is a community based, parent-run, not for profit, government licensed playschool. ​The Three Hills Playschool Association is a Licensed Playschool educating children within our community since 1988. We offer an affordable, play-based, program which emphasizes social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development.

All activities are designed to adequately nurture the emotional and intellectual growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, young children are free to develop into bright young minds.

BELIEF STATEMENT
The THPA believes that play is a fundamental part of children's learning, growth and development. By providing programs for 3-5 year olds, we offer a gradual transition from home to Kindergarten. Our teachers provide a safe environment where individual differences are appreciated, communication is open and each child's needs are addressed.

MARIAH BATES
Mariah Bates has lived in rural Alberta for the past six years. Mariah lives on a farm with her husband and their son with an assortment of animals. She has worked as a social worker and early childhood educator in a community based setting. Her favourite things to do are ride her horses or go hiking in the mountains.
Mariah is passionate about the early years and believes in encouraging learning through play and exploration. She is very excited to be working at the Three Hills Playschool and is excited to meet all the new faces in this upcoming year!
